"Ask an Expert" is based on a UG innovation & transformation tools chart in PDi2's The Age of Undergrounding study. To Ask an Expert, choose the area of interest from the lists below and select from the available topics. Then choose who you'd like to contact and "Ask the Expert."

Undergrounding Innovation: Regulatory Policy & Financial Engineering

Innovation: Restoration standards post-storm/event

Description/Definition: Relaxation of post-storm/event standards that require repair to “original design standards” effectively precluding undergrounding.

Impact: Reduced Maintenance Cost: Reduced Maintenance Cost: Opportunistically update assets to drive down long-term maintenance.
